Inlets Content Manager Roles and Responsibilities

Controlling Incoming Requests from Content Providers

  1. Receive approved content from Content Provider via email.

  2. Review and edit content for:

    1. Clarity- Will all HOA members understand the message?

    2. Grammar- Is it using all proper punctuation and sentence structure and using terms correctly?

    3. Completeness- Are all sentences complete and conclusive?

    4. Appropriate length- Is there unnecessary embellishments or paraphrasing that can be removed?

    5. Suitability- Is it free of profanity, proprietary, personal, marketing, and bias information?

    6. Date- Do the files have a "date created"

  3. Work with or return to Content Provider if substantial corrections, clarification, approval, or removal of sensitive information are required.

  4. For Master Association announcements, indicate whether the announcement should also appear on the Homepage slider. Neighborhood HOA announcements are not normally posted to the slider unless they have multi-HOA impact.

  5. Email the Website Manager the final formatted title and paragraph in the body of the email, along with any attachments and special posting instructions.

  6. Respond to questions or issues identified by the Website Manager before posting.
